The Outback Push Bike Trek

David Steer has recruited a team of four to embark on a charity bike trek through 1,800 kilometres of town, city and country to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS). The trip will carve a line across varied landscapes covered by the RFDS, a journey which Mr Steer believes symbolises the challenges of outback living and work.

Setting the challenge to be completed in 28 days, starting on 31 August 2007 David and his team will cycle from the RFDS base in Charleville, Queensland, travelling via Broken Hill and Port Augusta finishing in the RFDS’s Adelaide base in South Australia on the 25 September 2007, to raise much-needed funds for the RFDS.

Help us to raise funds for the RFDS to purchase and medically equip, a new flying intensive care aircraft.
